Audrey Hepburn was right when she said, “There is a shade of red for every woman.” Red is one of those colors that I almost feel like I’m being a risk taker whenever I do wear it. I do tend to wear more neutral colors, but every so often I like to light up the room and wear a splash of color.
Being the girly girl that I am, dress shopping is always a guaranteed good time for me. I came across the Lola dress by Nadine Merabi and was simply mesmerized. The lace detail was remarkable, and the overall design of the dress was done so nicely. The flared skirt gave it a baby doll feel, but the plunging v-neck really made me feel sexy. The color red represents power, strength, and courage. The woman who wears red is bold and fierce and that’s exactly how I felt in this dress. I did wear this dress for a photoshoot with a pair of Louboutin Exagona 160 Pumps and I loved how long my legs looked being that this dress is knee length. Being that I plan on wearing this dress out on date night, I would wear it more with heels that don’t have a platform only because I think this would be a cute dancing dress and it makes more sense for me to wear a nice pair of comfortable heels with such a fun dress. . A drop necklace and a clutch purse is all you’ll need to pair with the Lola dress. This dress is a showstopper on its own, so you are able to keep your accessories very simple. If you’re not wanting to wear heels with this look, knee length dresses also go well with a cute pair of sandals.
I absolutely love this Nadine Merabi dress, the design and the material are truly exceptional. It’s such a different look for me but it makes me excited because a dress that is so very bold allows me to feel sexy and even more confident.
